A guilty pleasure of mine. Michael wouldn't have wanted his unfinished footage to be seen, but it's still really cool to see such a massive creation bringing itself to life that was unfortunately doomed to fail, much like "Titanic" in a way (another guilty pleasure). Plus, in "Memories of Michael," a thirty-minute-long bonus special on the DVD, it shows a clip of Michael really belting out not only the best laugh I've heard from him, but from anybody in general. Don't believe me? See for yourself my friends: www.youtube.com/watch?v=beVQ7t… That, to me, is all the worthwhile. I think I've fainted. Then again, some members of Michael's family attempted to stop AEG from releasing the film, so they apparently must have had a real grudge against it, which I feel they should have. I mean talk about raping the cash cow when they forced Michael into doing fifty shows for them (when at first they tricked him into doing ten, ONLY TEN PEOPLE), and they didn't even care in the slightest about his SERIOUS health problems. I shit you not, to Dr. Murray they were like "Fuck that shit, just make sure he can perform. SHOW US THE MONEY!!!" :greed: While I believe Dr. Murray was just messed-up in the head and soaked-up in the fame, those greedy, rotten bastards AEG can burn in hell for all I care. That being said, the only reason why I love this film so much is your only reason as well. Michael Jackson, and NOT because of him being the massively gigantic idol he still is today. My God, for a skin-and-bones fifty-year-old man, boy did he knock everyone's underpants off with the fact that he still had it in him. All those years, hell, practically his entire life of musical creation and performance seemingly leading up to that one moment that he was so unbelievably excited for, hence the title "This Is It."
